3. Determine the type of power connection for the selected fan. On the mother board must be present connectors, consisting of 2, 3 or four pins. If on the mother board there are no free connectors for connecting a fan, then select another device, say a video card, to which you can connect a cooler.

4. Attach the fan to the CPU heatsink. Remember that both of the above devices are traditionally sold as a kit. If you bought only a fan, then make sure that it is properly fixed. If the failure of the cooler is not detected in a timely manner, this can lead to damage to the central processor.

5. Connect power to the fan. Turn on your computer and make sure the cooler is stable. After loading the operating system, install the SpeedFan program and run it.

6. View the temperature readings of the sensor installed on the CPU. If the temperature is too high, increase the speed of the blades. Do not close the program in order to be able to periodically evaluate the state of the CPU.

Coolers are a significant element air system computer cooling. The entire fan in the system is installed on a specific part, protecting it from overheating and combustion. A cooler is a metal or plastic radiator that drives air through itself and thus cools one or another element of the device.

3. Fans are invariably located on the 3 most heat-prone elements: processor, graphics card and power supply. In primitive systems, the power supply acts as a cooling element for the case and it is he who provides ventilation and removal of burning air.

4. Chilling air, as usual, enters the computer from the front panel. Air flows through each chassis and is expelled through a fan installed in the power supply. If the computer has a large number different devices subject to heat (one or several strong video cards, several hard drives and strong processor), as well as with a small case size, additional coolers are installed.

5. If you want to add a new device to your computer, say an extra hard drive, you need to consider the cooling system as well. Purchase the latest cooler for the front of the case. The radiator will take in more air and provide them with a device. It is also worth installing a cooler, one that will bring a greater amount of burning air out. It is worth noting that the larger the size of the fan, the cooler the cooling is, and therefore it’s probably cooler for everyone to buy radiators of a huge diameter.

Note!
It is not possible to install a rear blower fan. This will interfere with the air circulation in the computer case and thus may affect the life of the computer.
