However, it should be noted that Apple could increase the screen of the iPhone SE without changing the dimensions of the device itself. The frames are quite thick - there is room to increase them. A screen with a diagonal of 4.3-4.5 inches would fit quite well.

The differences are minimal - there is no 3D Touch (many, however, have already forgotten that the 6s even has it) and the screen resolution is lower - it corresponds to the iPhone 5/5s: 640x1136 pixels instead of 750x1334 pixels. At the same time, the hardware in the iPhone SE is absolutely the same as in the iPhone 6s - a dual-core Apple A9 APL0898 processor with a nominal clock frequency 1850 MHz, PowerVR GT7600 video accelerator, and 2 GB of RAM.
